General Catalog

The General Catalog is a resource for students to find comprehensive information about getting their degree, including policies and procedures, course information, degree requirements and support services. Degree Explorer helps students find degrees and programs using various filters, including career, interest, and focus.

Summer Sessions

Summer Sessions offers two 6-week sessions and over 700 courses for students looking to stay on track or get ahead for graduation.

Academic Assistance and Tutoring Centers (AATC)

AATC provides tutoring services, a math and science support center and writing center. All AATC services are organized by subject and for many courses students have options like one-on-one tutoring by appointment, drop-in tutoring, asynchronous resources, co-classes, and workshops.

The Writing Center

The Writing Center offers university-wide writing services for undergraduate students, graduate students, staff and faculty. Services include workshops and seminars, personal statement and application guidance, one-on-one consultations, dissertation writing groups , faculty writing groups and resources for instructors delivering the university’s writing curriculum across the disciplines.

Student Disability Center (SDC)

The Student Disability Center is the campus unit designated to receive requests for accommodation, approve services and coordinate support for students with disabilities to create equitable access to the University’s educational programs.

Success Coaching and Learning Strategies

The Success Coaching and Learning Strategies program helps students be the designer and driver of their academic, personal and professional success. Success coaches support students in setting goals, building an action plan and monitoring progress. They can also help strengthen study skills by assessing current learning strategies and habits.

UC Davis DataLab

The DataLab fosters, promotes and facilitates data science to accelerate discovery at the frontiers of scientific, engineering and social disciplines. It complements existing and developing educational programs to facilitate research in data science and provide a niche for students, faculty and professional researchers seeking to move beyond their individual programs to identify and exploit new opportunities.

Libraries

Visit our library locations to study or unwind in between classes, use technology to support a research assignment or project, check out exhibits and events highlighting collections, and take a tour or a workshop to advance research skills.

International and Academic English

As part of its mission, International and Academic English ensures that multilingual students—a population that represents the majority of UC Davis’ total student body—are given fair and equitable access to opportunities and resources and develops programs that build their academic intercultural communication skills and confidence.
